" Late 18th Century Neoclassical Painted Bookshelf "
Elegant neoclassical bookshelf made of chestnut wood, painted in tempera in delicate shades of white, aquamarine, brown, and black. The decorations, typical of the 18th century and the neoclassical period, evoke classical style, featuring a refined floral garland at the top and columns enriched with guilloches, consisting of intricate geometric spirals. The bookshelf is designed with open shelving at the top, with three shelves divided by columns that create three distinct sections; in the lower section, there are three doors that provide access to two further internal shelves. This bookshelf features impeccable proportions, is in excellent condition, and can be disassembled for easy transport. Beautiful and sophisticated, it can enrich any environment with taste and refinement. Made in Tuscany in the late 18th century, it comes from a villa near Bagni di Lucca.
