Portrait of Mrs Emma Burward in white dress and turban, with a wooded landscape beyond, in excellent condition and of very good quality. A magnificent Georgian period painting of the young Mrs Bulward, probably commissioned as a wedding portrait, dressed in the fashionable attire of the period. Typical of Hoppner's relaxed style. Label on the reverse identifying both the painter and the sitter. Presented in its original carved frame. Provenance: Private London Collection Mrs Millard's Family Collection Dimensions: 95 x 81 cm (37.4 x 32 in.) approximately framed
