"Sabino Oval And Pearl Vase 1930"
Beautiful molded glass vase by Marius Sabino, model "Ovales et Perles". This vase has a bowl shape, sometimes called "tulip", with a satin frosted finish that highlights the exceptional quality of the glass. The foot is decorated with a decoration of raised squares alternating with vertical lines, adding character to the base of the vase. The main decoration, composed of concentric ovals, extends from the foot to the upper edge, delicately highlighted by series of raised pearls. This model, listed under number 7016 in the Sabino catalog, is a perfect example of the glassmaking know-how of the 1930s. Although the vase is made of neutral frosted glass, small bubbles, called "bouillons" in glassmaking jargon, are present, but they do not alter its integrity, beauty or charm. In very good condition, this vase is signed "Sabino France" in relief under the base, a signature from the original mold. Dimensions: Height: 14 cm Diameter at the neck: 15 cm
