Very beautiful oil on canvas by Achille LAUGÉ (1861-1944) signed lower left and dated 1928. Work titled "Chemin bordé de genêts" Frame RG frame Despite a very academic training, he was influenced by French neo-impressionist painters, such as Georges Seurat, Paul Signac and Camille Pissarro. Achille Laugé practices a divisionist technique: he applies dots of color to create shapes. He finds his inspiration in the nature that surrounds him. His works are now held by several museums, including the Musée d'Orsay and the Musée du Louvre in Paris.
