WINE BOTTLE in pewter called "Glockenkanne" of cylindrical shape with flared base, fitted with a tubular spillway with hinged flap and a bayonet-closing cap topped with a vertical ring. It bears a report shield engraved with initials of ownership.
Hallmark of Andreas 1st WIRZ received master around 1725 and sworn in 1728.
Twin hallmark "with the arms of the city".
Pinkish countermark on the inside bottom
Height: 22.5 cm.
ZURICH, Mid-18th century
