"Sauteuse Chest Of Drawers - Rosewood - Louis XV - Late 19th Century."
Chest of drawers in rosewood and violet veneer of the same tone, arranged in rays on the front and sides. This piece of furniture includes two curved front drawers, with hidden crosspieces, fitted with bronze pull handles and a lock entry. Presence of an original lock with its key in working order. The projecting side uprights are decorated with bronze falls ending in a shoe. On the top, we find a thick original marble, in brocatelle, in shades of white and purple. This follows the shape of the top, it is molded in a groove and in a bec-de-corbin with a projection at the corners. The interiors of the drawers and the bottom of the piece of furniture are in solid oak. Very good condition. Parisian work from the Faubourg Saint-Antoine. Circa 1880.
