Splendid Italian painting from the late 18th century. Oil on canvas painting, first canvas, depicting a bucolic landscape with figures and animals of excellent pictorial quality. In this pastoral scene, in a quiet and idyllic atmosphere, we find a sheep, a donkey and a cow in the foreground next to a stream. At the centre of the composition we see two women immersed in this lush countryside landscape while in the distance we can see villages and ancient ruins. Scenic French frame from the first half of the 20th century, with reference on the back to the famous framer Emile Bouche (see photo), in carved and gilded wood with antiqued mirror inserts, difficult to find and notable charm, structurally sound with some signs of aging. Painting that has undergone a light conservative restoration with recovery of the colour in small spots and some patches on the back of the canvas (see photo). Artwork overall in good condition. Internal measures H 56 x W 58 cm.
