Kashan Manchester rug, from the Pahlavi dynasty and dating from 1880, is woven in high quality wool pile from Manchester, on cotton foundations. It is distinguished by a central medallion with midnight blue floral motifs, decorated with bouquets of delicate flowers, resting on a beige background dotted with medallions intertwined with branches. The piece is framed by three borders, including a main ruby, sublimated with twisted motifs of botehs and flowers in pastel tones. Density: 7000 to 8000 knots/dm².
