Its superb intaglio decoration includes rich phytoformal motifs and vegetal, floral and fruit scrolls that run to the sides of the imposing coping and end in finely carved roses and roses. The coping offers the same decoration which oscillates between the dense and precious weavings which enclose the 3 contemporary mirrors. A meticulously carved base dominates the mirror and also ends with a large rose projecting several orders of carving.
All mirrors are contemporary and in excellent condition.
The same goes for carpentry and gilding. The mirror comes from an important Venetian noble palace and has never circulated on the antique market.
The back features original woods, as seen in the photo which shows how the glass lining was done with axes, as was usually the case in old carpenters' workshops.
