"Art Deco Tank Signet Ring 40s Diamonds On Rose Gold And Platinum"
This Tank ring from the 1940s in 750/°° rose gold (18 KT, owl hallmark) and platinum (mascaron head hallmark) is a link between two eras. With its structured lines, its degraded cuts, and the arrangement of the diamonds in steps, we can still feel the influence of the Art Deco period. Its overall volume, the combination of rose gold and platinum, its shape evoking a signet ring, the harmony in the contrast between the materials and the volumes it presents, allow it to be fully representative of Tank jewelry from the 1940s. Like many rings from this period, its beautiful volume is designed to be very ergonomic, and you don't feel this ring when wearing it. It is also quite flat on the finger, which makes it particularly easy to wear on a daily basis. Its central part is adorned with two half-cut diamonds in a pair, very representative of the Art Deco period. On the shoulder, rose-cut and old-cut diamonds are set. The diamonds are set in platinum as was the custom at the time. Total weight of the diamonds estimated at around 0.35 ct Gross weight: 9.44 g Ring size: 58 - possible resizing to be assessed by our workshop (current diameter 1.95 cm / US size 8.5) Condition: slight micro-scratches on the body of the ring (which can be repolished by our workshop during resizing or on request), natural inclusions in the stones not visible to the naked eye Possibility of payment entirely remotely via the site.
