Solid Walnut Property Chest Of Drawers, Louis XVI Period – Late 18th Century

Solid walnut chest of drawers composed of three drawers in a belt whose fronts have a blackened wooden surround and brass quarter rounds. The original locks are in working order. A master key opens all the locks. Each drawer is equipped with a heart entry. The side drawers, of identical size, have brass drop handles accompanied by rosettes. Below, we find two large drawers with fronts with the same characteristics. This chest of drawers has dust covers between its drawers. On each side of this piece of furniture, the uprights are decorated with stopped grooves and end with sheath feet. The top of the chest of drawers, in solid walnut, has a blackened wooden edge bringing originality to this piece of furniture.
