Bronze sculpture, with a double green and brown patina, signed Nérin on the terrace. This work represents a lion in full roar, its mouth wide open, detailing the teeth and tongue. The lion's body is in a dynamic pose, with its front legs stretched out as if it were about to pounce. The well-defined muscles suggest power. The whole rests on a Black Cihigue marble base.
