Very large polychrome plaster statue representing a standing little girl holding her German shepherd dog by one ear while riding it in a friendly game. This beautiful and fresh piece with beautiful original polychromy is from a publisher from the 1925s, bearing the number FRANCE 510; then at the front on the base the famous cartouche which announces the subject: "The Two Friends". A large piece full of charm, the lying dog is peaceful while the mischievous little girl dressed in a fine veiled jumpsuit rides it with a mischievous smile in the effort, her bust rounded. The oval base is a good size and the height is sufficient to impose such a charming subject. In good original condition and already a hundred years old, this piece has all the charm of childhood rediscovered and its carefree nature.
