White porcelain cup with raised handle with a rare yellow background, gold trim, and floral decoration. A brown carnation called the flower of Jupiter, on the front on the body of the cup, and a bouquet of violets, which in Greece was considered the flower of Zeus, in the heart of the saucer. Dated intaglio 1824, this cup is contemporary with the creation of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 in Vienna.
