"19th Century Neoclassical Pitch Pine Fireplace."
Pitched pine fireplace carved during the second half of the 19th century, in Neoclassical style, richly molded, in perfect condition. Its trumeau with a broken pediment decorated with a spinning top, originally receiving a mirror, rests on a central projection lintel supported by two detached balusters, originally accommodating a clock. The whole is easily separable, since assembled in two separate elements, the fireplace and its mirror. The dimensions of its hearth are 63 cm wide by 60 cm high.
