Pair of mounted vases
Marble and gilt bronze
Dimensions : H. 32 ; C. 12 (cm.)
France, last third of the 19th century
A very decorative pair of neoclassical covered vases. In the Louis XVI style, they are designed as incense burners or pots pourris. Interesting example of the Louis XVI-Imperatrice style that filled the interiors of the Second Empire bourgeoisie.
Condition report: wear to the gilding and minor accidents. Differences to the sockets.
