Object description :

"Window Panel - Cornely Appliques And Embroidery - Fine Cotton - Mechanical Tulle - Circa 1900"
Large window panel made of cotton voile, the decoration of which is made of embroidered applications in the Cornely style, on a background of machine-made cotton tulle. General color of a slightly off-white. Piece in excellent condition, which is quite rare for this type of work. Only very small drops scattered in the background of tulle, and counted in small number (see photos), should be noted. The structure is solid, it does not present any fragility under tension. Ruffled lower part and head border reinforced by a cotton twill ribbon intended to fix the hanging rings. Old linen washed and ironed.

Important : Hand washing only recommended, ideally by soaking, avoiding twisting when spinning. These panels do not support machine washing.
