"Blue Opaline Bottle With Desvignes Decor From The Charles X Period"
Small turquoise blue opaline bottle and its ball stopper, with a gold and dark blue painted decoration representing a crown of anemones, pansies and forget-me-nots which adorns the edge of the belly. This floral motif is framed by gold stripes and, in the lower part, a frieze of palms and small stylized and gilded garlands. Gold threads highlight the neck and the stopper topped with a radiant motif. Extremely fine, this decoration was executed by the workshop of Jean-Baptiste Desvignes. Some wear to the gold.
