Typical Noron pitcher in Normandy, glazed earthenware pottery, with applied kaolin decoration: "A L.GONTHIER IB" topped with a heart and surrounded by vine shoots and an oak branch.
Folk Art late 19th century.
A similar model dated 1864 and attributed to Edouard Pinel is kept at the Caen museum.
Good condition, note a chip on the foot.
