"Modern Gabbbeh Chobi Rug"
In Persian, Gabbeh means raw or natural. The perfect name for these nomadic rugs, whose design is limited to the essentials.We often find on the rug a simple plant or animal motif, such as camels or trees. These patterns are inspired by the daily life of nomads in the surrounding area.
On this model, the design is rather timeless with bright colors. It is a Pakistani-made rug in the style of Gabbeh rugs.
The wool is much less thick and therefore the velvet less soft, nevertheless the quality of the wool used remains good. As a result, the rug can easily withstand large areas of passage.
