A South German work featuring a very important bagged relic of Saint Donatus, Martyr, presented in a richly carved and gilded wooden reliquary. Our Holy Man was a Roman nobleman, Bishop of Arezzo, martyred by beheading in the year 360.
On the back and on the edge are two wax seals in good condition.
