Cross of Commander of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, 19th century in silver-gilt (hallmark) and enamel. Black tie. Height with bail: 5 cm Width: 3.5 cm Gross weight without ribbon: 14 grs. Order founded by the King of France Louis VII in 1149. It was restored by Louis XIV in 1693 and confirmed by Pope Benedict XIV on January 7, 1746 then transmitted by Pope PIUS IX to the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem on December 10, 1847. This order is placed under the protection of the Holy See and it includes three classes: Grand Cross, Commander, Knight. Very good condition of conservation and use, see details in the photos.
