Austrian sculptor born in Vienna in 1873, and died in 1937, Hans Müller created small scenes of daily life like our hunter, captured on the spot, surprised by what is happening before his eyes. With his emaciated face, a rather surprising pair of glasses (no doubt his eyesight problem is the cause of his surprise!) on his nose, our little hunter sports the typical outfit of the Austrian hunter, the same one that Emperor Franz Joseph wears as soon as he can escape from his imperial obligations: the rabbit hair felt hat topped with a feather, the leather breeches, the large woolen socks. Amusing little statue that will be unanimously appreciated by hunters both Austrian and French!
