"Exceptional Set Of Two Romantic Period Tapestries Beauvais Circa 1805 Never Used"
Exceptional set of two fine wool and silk tapestries from the Romantic period, probably from the Beauvais Manufactory around 1805. Polychrome decoration in a central cartouche on a pink background of goats for one, birds for the other in a surround of leafy and flowery scrolls, garlands of flowers and cornucopias on pastel backgrounds and a frieze of pansies and foliage. They will allow you to elegantly and refinedly cover a small bench, sofa, create magnificent and original wall decorations or any other project according to your imagination or desires. Dimensions (approximately): Length: 156 cm Width: 83 cm and Length: 123 cm Width: 60 cm Never used, they are in an excellent state of conservation, the colors of exceptional freshness.
