Iranian wool kilim, circa 1950. Good condition. Restorations over time.

Beautiful kilim in orange tones with a diamond pattern on its entire surface. An 'Aleh abassi' border (tulip border) surrounds the field of the kilim. Some abraches: term designating a variation of tones in the same color.
Note: some indelible stains after cleaning.

The Gashghai confederation includes different tribes. Some examples: the Kashkulis Bozorgs (the large ones), the Kashkulis Kucheks (the small ones), the Shishbolukis (six districts), the Amalehs or Yalamehs (workers, servants of the Khan).
