Porcelain covered pot with Imari decoration and gilt bronze mounts. China, Qianlong period (1736-1795) for the porcelain. Gilt bronze mounts (handles) with lion heads and foliage falls from the Louis XVI period, late 18th century. Underglaze blue decoration enhanced with iron red and gold enamel with peony and foliage motifs. The lid may have been brought back. Note two small restorations and some wear on the porcelain at the level of the handles. Dimensions: L 16 x H 13.5 Diameter of the pot 12
