"Cushions From Maffrash Fragments 19th Century / Velvet"
Four pairs of cushions made from Maffrash Shahsavan panels from Persia. Maffrash are the largest carrying bags used by nomadic populations in the Middle East and the Caucasus. They are the equivalent of our chests. They were transported on the backs of dromedaries. This first series of cushions highlights the most beautiful 19th century Maffrash panels in our collection, combining velvet in tones that harmonize with each piece. The softness of the velvet and its comfort have been chosen to create a unique and highly decorative object. We have 8 cushions in the form of 4 pairs.
