Charles Smith était un éditeur, graveur ainsi qu’un vendeur de cartes et de globes travaillant à Londres de 1803 à 1862. Rival du célèbre John Cary cartographe, il a produit des cartes particulièrement détaillées et très similaires.
Il réalisa une collection de cartes qu’il publia en 1804.
