Oil on canvas, 55 cm x 46 cm, sold with its frame 67 cm x 58 cm, signed in nas on the right Maurice Bonnin, dated and countersigned on the back Maurice Bonnin 1960, representing the Place Furstemberg in Paris. Perfect condition. Sold with invoice-certificate. Maurice Bonnin was born in Naples on August 12, 1911 and died in 1993. A major painter of naive art, he exhibited for the first time in Paris in 1960. The painting that we offer for sale is probably part of this first exhibition; It is obviously repeated in several reference works on painting and particularly on naive painting. Thus we find it in the very selective naive guide to Paris alongside painters such as Emile Blondel or Luc Vieillard.
