Oil on paper mounted on canvas signed lower left G de Bigot, a figure of a child with a fishing rod seen in profile, face turned to the left, an exhibition label on the back bears the handwritten mention "the little fisherman" Painting probably exhibited during an exhibition around 1910 in Nantes, Gabrielle de Bigot Born in Bordeaux XIX-XX, Figure painter, she received advice from J De Sousa Pinto painter of the countryside and French peasants.
