Large Kutani porcelain dish with gilded bronze mounts. Japan Meiji period. Period second half of the 19th century for both the porcelain and the mount. Dish with polychrome decoration called "five colors" and gilded with character motifs: samurai, geisha, sumo, calligrapher ... Gallery and base with openwork frieze in gilded bronze. Base decorated with Buddhist lion heads. Signature below Kutani. Note a restored crack. Dimensions: Diameter 38 x H 16
