The icons are painted in oil on wood with a fire-gilded silver riza. On the riza with a halo of cloisonné enamel.
The decorations of the enamel halos are typically art nouveau. Both icons are punched several times.
The workshop of Grigorij Sbitnjew founded in 1893 and active until the revolution. Sbitnjew employed 40 jewelers.
Such icons were often given at weddings of the wealthy middle classes.
