Exceptional Solid Silver Fish Serving Set by PUIFORCAT in the exquisite "LOUIS XV" pattern. The set cpmprises a Serving Knife, large Serving Fork and its Sauce Spoon, a total of 3 Pieces richly decorated with rockery, volutes, foliage scrolls and monogrammed handles. Chased and pierced decoration echoes this decor on both the knife blade and fork end. Very finely crafted from the highest quality silver,the pieces are punched with the French Minerva 1st Standard (.950) hallmark and mark of the Master Goldsmith Emile PUIFORCAT (Hallmark with the initials "EP" and a penknife) activ in 1857. This exceptional Fish Serving Set in the rare Louis XV pattern by Puiforcat is in excellent condition, revised and cleaned by our Goldsmith, and just micro-scratches from use to note.
