Very beautiful decorative bronze plaque for Empire period furniture, early 19th century. This antique decoration of two winged sphinxes facing each other. They carry a torcère and frame a Greco-Byzantine style fire pot. This gilded bronze is in perfect condition, the gilding needs cleaning but is still very present. No accidents or missing parts.
