"19th Century Regency Period Mahogany Horse Mirror"
An early 19th-century Regency period mahogany horse mirror of exceptional quality. It features a rectangular original mirror plate enclosed in a crossbanded mahogany frame, supported by reeded turned uprights connected by stretchers. The stylish frame is adorned with two elegant finials and reinforced with turned braces at both the top and bottom of the uprights. The mirror is held in place by pins with decorative brass knobs. The piece stands on splayed reeded feet with the original capped brass castors. The back is paneled in mahogany, showcasing a wonderful original finish and color throughout. Made in England, circa 1810.
