Large baluster SAUPOUDREUSE in pewter, with gadrooned pedestal and openwork screwed lid with spinning top, engraved in full with plant motifs. Hallmark of François CARMOUCHE received master around 1680: fly / FC
Control hallmark curiously affixed three times:
1°- LYON / --- /.
2°- FF crowned / 1741 / (LY)ON.
3°- CC / crowned lily /1741 / (LY)ON.
Height: 22.6 cm.
LYON, Before 1714

We note here curiously the presence on the same object of a control for common pewter and another for fine pewter. Area of wear of the decoration on the base and small resumption of an opening of the lid.
