Exceptional Ring - Seal of Knight Templar in silver with the Templar symbol of the two Knights on a Horse. Around the motto 'SIGILLUM MILITUM XPISTI'. (SEAL OF THE KNIGHTS OF CHRIST).
This very rare object in a superb state of conservation, already part of the failed project Private Museum Federico II and the Middle Ages of Palermo, comes from an ancient Sicilian family, and testifies to how important and rich the history of the Templars was on the Island, a point of stationing and Transit to and from the Holy Land. 12th-13th century (pinky size n.19)
