"Large Stone Garden Table"
Large garden table in stone from Saint Cyr au Mont d'Or (Rhône), in perfect condition and remarkably stable. Its top, the ends of which are cut in a semicircle and the underside of which has been completely debarked to allow the knees to pass through, rests on a central foot of the same nature, of identical shape, slightly conical, in three juxtaposed elements. Made from old elements from the 17th and 18th centuries. Stone from Saint Cyr au Mont d'Or (Rhône): With shades varying from gray to black or from ochre with a purple vein, the particularity of this stone is the inclusion of grypheae, mother-of-pearl color (mollusc close to the oyster having lived from the Upper Triassic to the Cretaceous, −237 to − 65 million years).
