Early 19th century Neoclassical carved and gilded wall brackets realized with a white ivory color majolica demi vase of the Italian manufacture Giustiniani from Neaples. The ancient Italian maiolica is finally framed by an hand-carved and gold leaf gilded wooden demi-lune shaped structure ornated with a beading profile and ending in the lower part with a scrolling carving. The top has no gilding finish, but a Siena yellow painting.
This pair of antique carved and gilded wood and majolica shelves, handcrafted in the early 19th century, are in good condition, both giltwood structure and maiolica show signs of wear and use and old restorations, see detailed pictures.
