"A Satyr Carafe By R. Lalique For Maison Cusenier "
The Satyre carafe was created in 1923 in white glass by R. Lalique.The carafe has kept its patina on the handle which is decorated with the satyr's head and on the stopper which is decorated with grapes.
It is in excellent condition and presents a double signature, of the Lalique company in script letters and of the Cusenier company which had ordered a certain amount of these carafes for prestigious vintages.
The carafe measures 26 cm high.
