Our game table evokes the splendor of the court of the Sun King and the virtuosity of the sculptors responsible for the ornamentation of his furniture. Very impressive by its decoration and its quality of execution, it rests on four slightly moving legs, held by a spacer richly carved with foliage.
The central belt is decorated with a floral frieze of diamonds centered by a medallion with hunting attributes and musical instruments.
All the decoration symbolizes hunting like these faun heads which refer to the Greek god Pan who is the protector of nature.
This superb central table supports a Sarrancolin marble top with groove, fretwork, monolith with a thickness of 4.5 cm.
