"18th Century Solid Silver Sugar Bowl, Louis XVI, 1784, Pierre-claude Noblet."
Louis XVI sugar bowl in solid silver decorated with standing cherubs supporting oval medallions connected by garlands of flowers.
Strawberry-shaped lid grip.
Piece in good condition, no lack in the decoration except certainly a strawberry leaf on the grip, slight play of the fretel.
Blue glass in perfect condition.
18th century silver piece.
Charge and discharge mark, Paris 1783. Paris community mark, 1784.
Deformed goldsmith's mark, certainly Pierre-Claude Noblet, received in Paris in 1781.
No monogram in the medallions.
Dimensions: 19 x 9.5 cm, total height with lid: 14 cm.
Net weight of silver: 290 g, gross weight with glass: 587 g.
