Very beautiful pair of large and large Regency style armchairs in waxed and patinated beech. They rest on four arched legs, each ending in a beautiful scroll. They are connected to each other by an X-shaped spacer, this one is molded and decorated in its center with a small flower. The belt of each seat is scalloped and richly carved with beautiful motifs: shells, acanthus leaves and various. The armrests are sinuous and finely decorated. They rest on supports decorated at their bases with pretty acanthus leaves. One of the two armchairs has received recent webbing (see photo), the seat is therefore firm and very comfortable. The second has kept the original webbing, it is still in good condition but its seat is less firm while maintaining very acceptable comfort. The upholstery fabric is a beautiful embossed velvet, it is old, it is still in very good condition, only the colors are a little faded but give a charm to these two seats.
