""snowy Countryside" Roger Curel Sylvestre "
Roger CUREL-SYLVESTRE is a landscape painter born in 1884 in Nice. He died in 1967. He exhibited in Paris from 1927 at the Salon of the National Society of Fine Arts. He also participated in exhibitions in the United States and Canada. With this pretty snowy countryside, the painter was able to wonderfully restore the winter atmosphere of this village entrance located perhaps in Normandy where the painter used to set up his easel. Roger Curel-Sylvestre appears in the "Bénézit". With its 19th century frame in wood and regilded stucco decorated with laurel leaves and acanthus leaves, the painting measures 41.5 cm X 36.5 cm.
