Details: The +: the number of pieces, the colors, the very good general condition and especially the gilding which is rather rare to find on earthenware services. The -: a crack on the frame of a sauce boat and patina stains from time only on the serving dishes (but that is also part of the charm) Namely this service has remained dormant in boxes since 1960 hence its exceptional condition. In addition it was much more imposing so I made a homogeneous service of 122 pieces but if you wish you can complete it with plates which I offer by the dozen. For information: William Alsager Adderley began production in 1853 with several partners on the death of the partners he took over the company in 1874 and from 1886 the company became WAA & Co until 1905 and renamed in 1906 Adderleys Ltd.
