An early 19th-century, late Georgian period mahogany Wellington chest, attributed to Gillows. The chest boasts a lovely rich plum mahogany color and features seven mahogany-lined drawers with original turned wooden knobs. The drawers are flanked by pilasters, with the right-hand pilaster serving as a locking mechanism for the drawers, secured by a working Bramah lock and key.
