"émile Gallé - Rare Vase Algae And Shells, Seabed Decor Art Nouveau Glass Paste"
Rare vase by Émile Gallé with a seabed decoration with purple algae on a green background and a shell released with acid and ciseling with a wheel. It is decorated with yellow and green intercalary powders forming other algae under the decoration in order to give depth to the treatment. Very poetic and rare work by Émile Gallé around 1898-1900. Signature in engraving "Gallé". Note that a model with the same decoration is kept at the Musée d'Orsay (see last photo)
