"Early 19th Century Georgian Mahogany Canterbury"
A stunning and finely crafted early 19th-century late George III period mahogany Canterbury, or magazine rack. It features four solid mahogany divisions, with turned uprights at each corner topped by decorative finials. The front frieze houses a mahogany oak-lined drawer, fitted with a pair of turned mahogany knobs. The piece is supported on slender turned legs with original brass castors. Made in England, circa 1800, it remains in very good condition, structurally sound, and showcases a beautiful warm patina to the mahogany.
