Majestic Art-deco Centerpiece, in the shape of a Cup signed DAUM

Discover this smoked glass vase signed by the DAUM glassmaker in Nancy, dating from the 20s/30s, Adorned with an elegant geometric pattern. available in three rows of small rectangles in frosted hollows etched with acid, and delicately outlined with lines subtly alternating with parts with smooth surfaces, creating a refined textural effect. This work rests on a faceted heel which beautifully completes the whole.

For more than 120 years, the DAUM factory in Nancy has been a benchmark for excellence and innovationin the field of art crystal. From 1892, Auguste DAUM entrusted the artistic department to his brother Antonin, then with Paul, they allowed the house to distinguish itself in Art Deco. DAUM continues to reinvent itself, collaborating with artists such as André GROULT, Paul FOLLOT and Francis JOURDAIN, then later with creators like César, Roger Tallon, Salvador Dalí and Hilton McConnico, thus creating iconic works of design and the arts French decorative works from the 20th century to today.

Condition: Very Good condition, micro scratch on the bottom inside, normal wear due to age, no repairs or damage.
