"Early 19th Century Regency Period Rosewood Canterbury"
A stunning and finely crafted early 19th-century Regency period rosewood Canterbury, or magazine rack. It features four solid mahogany divisions, with turned uprights at each corner topped by decorative low finials with carrying handle. The front frieze houses a rosewood drawer, fitted with a pair of turned rosewood knobs. The piece is supported on slender turned legs with original brass castors. Made in England, circa 1810, it remains in very good condition, structurally sound, and showcases a beautiful warm patina to the rosewood.
